My top 5 beauty must haves for May

My top 5 beauty must haves for May

5 of my favourite beauty products that are getting me through May!

We are only 2 weeks into the month of May, and boy has it been interesting. I am feeling super happy and having a little pinch me moment career wise, as I’ve just started a UK tour with a musical. So I am on the move for the rest of the month and I’m already starting to feel a little worn out. Here are my top 5 picks that are getting me through the month.

These are my top loves for May so far!

Facial beauty spray

#1 Mario Badescu facial spray

This facial spray is literally my favourite find of the year. It contains Aloe herbs and rose water and is more hydrating than I can express. I spray this after cleansing and then after I’ve done all my makeup. I also use it throughout the day and even on my hair. It has been my saviour especially as I’m going through acne treatment so my skin is super dry. If you are looking for a really hydrating facial spray that is so kind and soothing to the skin, then this is the 1!

#2 Bareminerals Complexion Rescue

In shade OPAL 01! This is the first baremineral base I have ever tried and I love it. It is definitely more a tinted moisturiser so it’s great for an everyday look. It really has increased the radiance and hydration of my skin. One of the reasons I wanted to try this product is because it’s silicone, paraben, oil and fragrance free. And its suitable for all skin types, it is hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic.

#3 Clarins Instant Concealer

In shade 01. I have been meaning to pick up this product for ages as I used to use it all the time when I worked next to the Clarins counter. This is one of the most hydrating concealers I have used. (That is the running theme at the moment with my makeup routine). It’s not cakey at all and is great for a top up later in the day over the top of your base. This also goes amazingly well with my favourite Nars concealer

#4 Clarins Mineral Powder

This ultra-fine, lightweight mineral powder in translucent is my go to powder. I’ve used this for a while now and it has such a weightless finish. It really lasts all day long as is not too heavy. It is a little pricey, but its a really big tub and lasts for months.

#5 Bareminerals Matte liquid lipcolor

After seeing the lovely Victoria at Inthefrow rave about this product I had to try it myself. I was not disappointed. It glides on the lips and even though its matte it is not drying or tacky. It can be used with other lip products really easily. I often pair it with one of my Rimmel faves. The colour Smooch is the perfect kind of pink for me. I am loving pink lips this spring so this is definitely my go to lip colour.
