Update! My New Netflix list of loves…

Updated Netflix list!

Like a monthly Beauty round up post I was thinking of updating my TV loves monthly or as I find some new gems. As I’m still all about Netflix and they are always bringing out new stuff I thought it was time for a new post.

I obviously had to start the list with this because I’m so bloody happy friends is now on Netflix! Nothing quite compares to binge watching all 10 seasons even though I’ve seen them a million times before. It’s perfection and never fails to make me laugh.

Stranger things

Oh how can I describe how much I love this series! I am in a state for mourning now its ended and eagerly waiting for the next. It is small town drama meets science fiction mayhem. The actors involved are another level amazing and they keep you captivated from start to finish. The writers are insane, the plot is so well thought out and developed. I don’t want to summaries this series because I don’t want to give any detail away for future watchers! Join the Stranger Things obsession and start binging today.

Mindhunter is a series based on the true crime book with the same Title. It’s based around a true story but characters have been changed and exaggerated to make the story even more dramatic. We follow 2 FBI agents trying to understand the minds of serial killers and creating what would be known as the behavioural analysis unit. It isn’t all about blood and guts it more about the physiology of killers and the people who discover them. It’s really well produced in my opinion and has a great soundtrack too.

Peaky Blinders

I don’t think I need to give this an explanation as most people have already fell in love with the Peaky Blinders. But for people who haven’t watched it yet, DO, it’s a brilliantly addictive series. It follows a gang in Birmingham after World War 1 and how their life of crime and violence unfolds. It can be a bit gory at times but the amazing acting and storyline makes it so much more than that. I have just finished all 3 seasons and can’t wait to see what happens in the next.

La Mante

As you might have guessed from the title this is a french series. Which does mean lots of subtitles but I prefer that than having it dubbed. It is another crime drama *sorry if that’s not what your into*. Which begins in the mist of a copy cat killer on the loose. The team of detectives have contact with the original serial killer, who is behind bars. They try and use her to help the investigation but it comes at a cost. It has so many twists and turns and it really builds the suspense till the very end.

The Big Short

This is an American Biography comedy drama with an all star cast all about what led up to the housing crisis. I really love the style of the film with characters breaking the ‘fourth wall’ and talking to the audience. It’s a film that doesn’t take itself to seriously when talking about some pretty serious stuff that really did happen. Follow the cast *with a bit of confusion I might add* as they discover the whole housing market is in complete danger. I learned a lot and I laughed so I have to put it on my list!

Do you have anything I need to add to my watch list?
